Benito Elisa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the banking and financial services sectors. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and International Finance from the University of Technology, Mauritius, and an MBA with a specialization in Financial Services from the University of Mauritius.
Driven by a strong interest in emerging technologies and their application in business, Benito transitioned into the fintech industry in 2016. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wakanda 4.0 and Scrybit Wallet, where he focuses on digital innovation, Crypto Assets and tokenisation.
Benito is widely regarded as a pioneer in the virtual asset and blockchain industry in Mauritius. He has been actively involved in multiple international projects spanning crypto assets, DeFi, and blockchain-based ecosystems, including participation in two gold tokenisation initiatives. His expertise covers virtual assets and blockchain technology.
A recognised industry voice, Benito has spoken on numerous fintech and virtual asset panels at local and international conferences. He is also a registered MQA trainer in Mauritius, delivering professional training in Virtual Assets and Blockchain.
